Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement

The ThinkTide Global Research Journal (TGRJ) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. Authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers are expected to adhere strictly to ethical standards at all stages of the publication process.

Responsibilities of Authors

  • Ensure that their work is original, accurate, and free from plagiarism.

  • Properly acknowledge the work of others through accurate citations and references.

  • Disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest.

  • Avoid multiple, redundant, or concurrent submissions of the same manuscript to more than one journal.

  • Provide retractions or corrections promptly if significant errors are discovered after publication.

Responsibilities of Editors

  • Make fair and unbiased decisions regarding manuscripts, based solely on academic merit and relevance to the journal’s scope.

  • Ensure a transparent double-blind peer review process.

  • Safeguard the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest with respect to submissions under consideration.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of manuscripts.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of all materials under review.

  • Identify and report potential ethical issues such as plagiarism, duplicate publication, or data manipulation.

  • Refrain from using unpublished data from manuscripts for personal advantage.

Responsibilities of the Publisher

  • Work closely with editors, reviewers, and authors to maintain the integrity of the academic record.

  • Uphold international standards of ethical publishing.

  • Take appropriate action in cases of misconduct, including correction, retraction, or removal of published articles when necessary.

Misconduct & Malpractice

TGRJ takes all allegations of misconduct seriously. In cases of suspected plagiarism, data fabrication, authorship disputes, or other unethical practices, the editorial board will conduct an investigation following COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. If malpractice is proven, appropriate corrective measures, including article retraction, will be taken.
